Naomi proves that it’s never too late to start Strength Training. She only hit the gym in her late 30s when, after being in a sedentary job too long, she realised she needed to lose weight and get fit. She’s never looked back!
On suggestion from a favourite instructor, Naomi took herself off to get certified in group fitness. And the rest, as they say, is history. Now she teaches across many class formats, but especially loves teaching Strength Training and Strength Bodyweight at Armature.
Along her fitness journey, she competed in Cross Fit competitions and played on the Darebin Falcons AFL team.
She has a Cert IV in Fitness and is an ASCA (Australasian Strength and Conditioning Association) accredited strength coach. She loves instilling those extra little nuances of technique to train her clients to that next-level of awesome.
In her other professional life, she works as a health executive managing a large, diverse team. Here she flexes her other muscles – as a problem solver and critical thinker.
Little known fact about Naomi:
In high school, she was in a comedy improv group that performed every Sunday afternoon at the Atheneum Theatre.
