Growing up in the heat of Darwin, Ailsa was a sporty child who grew up barefoot, doing lots of swimming, netball and volleyball. As an adult, she has lived all through Australia and worked for a decade as a geologist doing remote work (and lots of camping).

She found Pilates when she needed relief from back and neck pain and has never looked back, going so far as to fully certify in Pilates through Polestar Pilates in 2014 with a Diploma of Professional Pilates. She is also a certified TRE (Tension and Trauma Relief Exercise) provider.

Find her in the Personalised Pilates sessions, teaching clients of all ages and conditions. She is especially interested in post natal and older populations.

When Ailsa isn’t working, she hangs with her  daughter Luna, does yoga, bush walks, camps and loves to cook.
